Friends of Community Parks ("FCP") was created to support and enhance the public parks and recreational areas of Independence and Monmouth, ensuring they remain vibrant, accessible, and well-maintained spaces for the health, wellness, and enjoyment of all community members. Because our Board of Directors, Officers, and Committee Members are volunteers from the local community, we are committed to advocating for and supporting our parks in direct alignment with our community's needs.
